Saturday, 2nd Week Advent: One among you

He has already come, it’s the saviour the people have been waiting for but they don’t seem to see him; only John acknowledges his presence. It means, before them stands the one whom they refuse to recognize. John testifies the presence of the one among you, whom you probably don’t notice.

See, Lord we have made a good walk of Advent, eager to meet you. But isn’t there a danger that our expectations, according to the human way of seeing, block us from recognising who you really are?
